Stranger Things Jim Hopper is a state trooper in Hawkins. In the first season he’s constantly contacted by Joyce Byers because her son Will Byers is missing. Jim Hopper goes looking for him. In the second season we find out that he’s the guardian of Eleven. Hopper and Eleven live in a cabin in his grandfather’s place in the woods.
