Netflix GLOW is back!! I’m watching Season 3 and it’s slow and the first few episodes are short but I’m still loving it. The clothes they wear are very 80’s but of course 80’s is the new fashion these days. I’m sure I’ll be seeing this on the streets sometime in the near future. Of course left off from Season 2, we see Bash proposing to Rhonda “Britannica” Richardson. SOOOOO in Season 3 we see them in a photo session. The bride with all her GLOW friends in bridesmaid’s outfits including Liberty Belle, Zoya the Destroya, She-Wolf, Machu Picchu, and her whole crew of friends. Half were wearing pink and the other half were wearing gold swimsuits. I love this, too bad there isn’t a store that you can just buy all of GLOW’s outfits! GLOW aka Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling is a Netflix original series. Ruth Wilder is seen joining a workout session with her best friend Debbie Eagen. Since this is the 80’s, takes you back to the Jane Fonda days doesn’t it? Look at those bodysuit workout outfits, leggings and leg warmers. This was the look of the 80’s. GLOW is a great show and features Hollywood retired ladies or ladies who cannot get acting roles to join a wrestling show. Who knows if it will succeed. GLOW Netflix series that stars Ruth Wilder, an out-of-work actress living in Los Angeles in the ’80s. Wilder finds an unexpected chance at stardom: enter the glitter and spandex-laden world of women’s wrestling, where she must work alongside 12 other Hollywood misfits. The producer wants all the girls to be outside of their personal life and external forces. He makes them all move to a motel and they all share rooms and they even have a curfew. Ruth aka Zoya the Destroya shares a room with Sheila aka the She-Wolf. Ruth is forced to work with her best friend who hates her because she slept with her husband. GLOW is the Gorgeous ladies of wrestling. It’s the new Netflix series and it’s an amazing show. I love watching the character development and how a band of Hollywood misfits band together, create their individual wrestling personas and learn to work together. Ruth Wilder has trouble finding her character and who she really is, finally finds that she can play a Russian lady. They are holed up in a motel and she’s paired with Sheila She-Wolf. She even asks the motel front desk guy to join his Russian party so she can learn more about how Russians interact with each other and their language. The director takes this angle and makes it Russia vs US. It’s Zoya the Destroya vs Libery Bell. GLOW costumes are great for Halloween. GIRL POWER!! Find below costume ideas for Ruth’s final battle where she wears a red vintage jumpsuit and funk punk hair. She does a tag team with China, wins, turns and fights China, wins and then fights Liberty Bell from the audience, loses. Liberty Bell then loses to Welfare Queen.
