She doesn’t get the part but also has problems getting cast in any role. Ruth is best friends with Debbie Eagen. Debbie is a retired soap opera actress. She has a baby with her husband. Her husband climbed through the window of Ruth’s place one night and they had an affair. Debbie found out and confronted her when Ruth was auditioning for a part in GLOW. Debbie became Liberty Bell and the title wrestling match became Ruth vs Debbie aka Zoya the Destroyer vs Liberty Bell. In one match Liberty Bell wears a gold costume, she looks stunning and fierce. Debbie Eagen was Ruth Wilder’s best friend until Ruth slept with her husband. The producer of GLOW approached Debbie and wanted her to join his production. She was going to be the main match. The girls had to think of their own personas. Reggie Walsh, The Viking was going to be Liberty Bell, but Debbie took that persona from her. Liberty Bell realized that wrestling was all a soap opera and she is good at that. She got some tips from the pro wrestlers and he said all top wrestlers need a heel, Ruth became her heel. It was easy for Debbie to hate Ruth, she didn’t even want to work with her or see her. Liberty Bell is the all American girl, she fights for freedom and will not let anyone or anything bully her.
